Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TryInsidr, a job search coaching service available at tryinsidr.com (the "Service"). By purchasing a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

TryInsidr provides personalized job search coaching, including resume and search strategy assessment, curated and scored job opportunities, application materials support, interview preparation, and pipeline guidance. During the founding member period, the Service is delivered manually by the TryInsidr team, supported by software tools, on a weekly cadence.

2. What the Service is not

• TryInsidr is a coaching tool, not a resume writing service, staffing agency, recruiter, or employer.
• We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or any specific outcome. Job search results depend on factors outside our control.
• We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or immigration advice.

3. AI-generated content

Some materials we provide, including suggested resume language and application copy, are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. All suggestions are exactly that: suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion and only using content that accurately reflects your real experience and qualifications. Add suggested content only if it is true for you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any materials you submit to employers.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

• Founding member subscriptions are billed in advance at $99 per 3-month term through Stripe, our payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Founding members keep their founding rate for as long as their subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price applies.
• Prices may change for new subscribers at any time.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of your paid term.
• If the Service is not working for you within the first 14 days of your first term, contact us at support@tryinsidr.com and we will refund your payment in full.
• After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your experience, skills, and preferences.
• Use the Service for your own personal job search only.
• Do not misuse, resell, or attempt to reverse engineer the Service.

7. Your content and our use of data

• You retain all rights to your resume, work history, and personal materials. You grant us a limited license to use them solely to provide the Service to you.
• We collect information about your search activity and application outcomes to provide and improve the Service.
• Founding members agree that we may use anonymized, aggregated data about search activity and outcomes to improve the product and, with your separate permission, as anonymized success stories. We will never publish personally identifying details without your explicit consent.

8. Feedback

The founding member program includes providing honest feedback about the Service. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including payment processing (Stripe), job listing data sources, and AI providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party job listings, including posted salaries, requirements, or whether a posting is still active.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TryInsidr and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost employment, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. If we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current term on a pro-rata basis.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify active subscribers by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
